Infrastructure Project Manager

DMI Technologies is hiring a Project Manager to lead complex telecommunications, cabling, and physical security deployments from kick-off to close-out. You will serve as the primary link between client stakeholders, estimating engineers, and field technicians, ensuring installations are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define project scopes, coordinate timelines, and allocate workforce resources.
  • Manage material procurement, vendor deliveries, and subcontractor schedules.
  • Monitor project budgets, labor hours, change orders, and financial margins.
  • Conduct site visits to perform quality assurance audits and monitor progress.
  • Lead regular project meetings with client managers, general contractors, and engineers.
  • Deliver final closeout documentation, including test results, CAD redlines, and warranty registrations.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years managing commercial low-voltage, data center, or construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of structured cabling standards (TIA/EIA, BICSI) and low-voltage trade.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in project management software (Procore, MS Project, or similar).
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) or BICSI RCDD credential is highly preferred.

Security Systems Installer

We are looking for a skilled Security Systems Installer to deploy advanced physical security, access control, and CCTV surveillance systems. You will work with industry-leading platforms such as Axis, Lenel, Avigilon, and Rhombus to deliver top-tier safety solutions to our commercial clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, wire, and mount card readers, door strikes, maglocks, and motion sensors.
  • Install and configure network surveillance cameras (IP cameras, dome cameras, PTZ).
  • Pull and route low-voltage security cabling in conduits, ceilings, and walls.
  • Program and test security panels, controllers, and software integrations.
  • Deliver hands-on training to client security managers upon system handoff.
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance and emergency troubleshooting.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience installing commercial access control and CCTV video systems.
  • Familiarity with systems like Avigilon, Lenel, Software House, Rhombus, or Axis.
  • Basic knowledge of TCP/IP networking and low-voltage electrical principles.
  • TX Private Security License (or ability to obtain one).
  • Ability to work independently and interface professionally with corporate clients.

Structured Cabling Technician

Structured Cabling Technician

DMI Technologies is seeking experienced Structured Cabling Technicians to join our growing field operations team in Dallas, TX. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, terminating, testing, and troubleshooting copper and fiber optic cabling systems in enterprise and data center environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, route, and support Category 6, 6A, and fiber optic cabling systems.
  • Terminate data jacks, patch panels, and fiber optic connectors (LC, SC, MPO).
  • Perform cable testing using Fluke DSX cable analyzers and document test results.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, floor plans, and schematic drawings.
  • Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to all OSHA and DMI safety regulations.
  • Coordinate tasks with Project Managers and Lead Technicians to meet strict client deadlines.

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in structured cabling or voice/data infrastructure.
  • Proficiency with termination and testing tools for both copper and fiber.
  • Ability to read construction blueprints and layouts.
  • BICSI Certification (Installer 1 or 2) is a strong plus.
  • Reliable transportation, clean driving record, and ability to pass a background check.
